“This is a dream come true,” Black Veil Brides Andy Biersack told MetalTalk this summer when the show was announced. “Since our very first UK tour over a decade ago, it’s been clear that we have an important connection with our audience in England. Over the years, our shows in London have always been some of the most significant events in our career.”
Black Veil Brides
We were set for another highlight of the night when Black Veil Brides took the stage, opening with Faithless and bringing their incredible energy. They kicked off their set with full intensity, drawing fans in with a mix of classics like Knives And Pens, Fallen Angels, and In The End.
Each song showed off the band’s signature style, combining powerful vocals, anthemic guitar riffs, and lyrics about strength and defiance.
Andy Biersack was at his best, leading the band through a set that felt both celebratory and immersive. The arena’s dramatic lighting and visuals added to the experience, matching the Devil’s Night theme perfectly.
The Halloween timing made everything feel even more special, with fans embracing the dark, haunting atmosphere that matched Black Veil Brides’ gothic style.
The night was unforgettable, filled with explosive performances of beloved songs like Wake Up, Scarlet Cross, The Legacy, and Lost It All. The show also followed the recent release of Black Veil Brides’ Bleeders EP, adding extra excitement and giving fans a fresh taste of their theatrical rock sound.
The set was one of their most immersive and visually striking yet, especially as part of their co-headlining act with Creeper, who brought their own unique style to the stage.
Together, both bands turned the night into an unforgettable celebration of rock, gothic vibes, and a true sense of community.
Creeper
The Devil’s Night with Creeper kicked off with Further Than Forever as the band took the stage. I had heard a lot about them but had never really listened to their music before, and even though it’s not my usual style, they made a big impression.
Creeper delivered an energetic, dramatic set with their unique blend of gothic rock and punk. They played fan favourites like Lovers Led Astray and Sacred Blasphemy, with each song capturing the dark, theatrical vibe that makes them stand out.
One of the night’s high points was an intense drum solo by Jake Fogarty, whose performance, complete with fire and lighting effects, was nothing short of thrilling.
Another unforgettable moment came from co-vocalist/keyboards Hannah Hermione, whose voice was both deep and perfectly raw, adding the right amount of edge to the performance. Songs like Misery and Cry To Heaven brought out strong reactions from the audience, showcasing Creeper’s ability to mix theatrical flair with raw emotion.
They also played haunting tracks like The Ballad Of Spook & Mercy and Astral Projection, along with the live debut of More Than Death, all of which reinforced their powerful, darkly anthemic style. The stage set-up, combined with their passionate performance, created an atmosphere that was both sinister and captivating, fitting perfectly with the Halloween season.
This set added a whole new layer to the night, drawing fans deep into Creeper’s emotional and gothic world, a perfect match for the evening’s moody, unforgettable vibe.
Choir Noir
Choir Noir brought something truly special and haunting to the OVO Arena. They joined Creeper and Black Veil Brides for a memorable night, perfect for the Halloween season.
Their powerful harmonies added depth and atmosphere to the evening, enhancing the dark, gothic rock vibes. Known for their incredible choir arrangements that support major rock and Metal acts, Choir Noir captivated the audience with their renditions of songs like Shadow Moses by Bring Me The Horizon and Doomsday by Architects.
Choir Noir has become a standout presence in the Metalcore scene, especially through their work with these two iconic bands. They first made waves with a breathtaking performance alongside Bring Me The Horizon at the Royal Albert Hall, where their choral sound brought a dramatic, orchestral feel to the music.
Their work with Architects on tracks like Doomsday and Dying Is Absolutely Safe added powerful emotional layers.
In the end, Choir Noir delivered an unforgettable performance, making them the perfect choice for such a dark and thrilling night.
